The Numbers In Colors

 by: Florie Lyn Masarate

Printing companies sole purpose to properly execute any printing job that the customer has put into their hands. This would also mean getting it done without encountering any problems that might have aroused if done by these people themselves. The people get the printers to do the job for them; this includes thinking of the process needed in the printing job.

Color into prints is one of the major factors that printers should take into account. Not only that, with color printers and color printing companies catering to every needs, having an edge over the others is one thing that needs to be taken seriously. A bit of a consideration is needed in the process of color printing. One does not go about this without having basic and the needed knowledge to execute the right colors into prints. The number of colors are specified especially for those with a tight budget to keep up with.

Using one color into your printing job means using that mean color on its own plate. When it is blue, whether if it is 50% or 75% blue, it is still blue. It will go into the plate. This one color job is just that; one color, all done in different shades and tints of that color. This one color printing job is best for those with a tight budget that still needs their print job to work. It is better to choose solid colors in going about this kind of printing. It is always best to inquire with your printers on the uses of tints as they will add extra costs.

Two color printing is using two colors. By using these colors, a variety of many colors can be made using these two colors. You can even print a third color if these two are properly combined. Printing a color over another is tricky that is why the right knowledge on how to best do this is needed before going into this. Some people may not be aware of this, but black is considered one color. So using black with another color means you are using two colors. As with white, it is the absence of a color in another color.

Three color printing job is using three colors and all the shades of these three colors. In fur colors, however, four spot colors can be used but that would be expensive. So what these printers and these people do is they use CMYK to produce an infinite number of colors. This type of color printing is best used in the types of printing that is difficult to do using process colors. But the only downside to this is that the exact colors are not produced although they may look the same.

Now that you know your colors, it is up to you to decide on how best to put them into your prints. Be creative.

Your Interview Suit

Your Interview Suit

 by: Kathleen C. Gagne

OK. So you don't need an interview suit when you work online. That does not mean, however, that your appearance is not important.

Your personal photos, your network pages, your websites all make your first impression for you... similar to an interview suit. These online presentations are most often the first contact a potential client will have with you. It is critical that you look your very best.

Take a look at your photo or avator. What do they say about you? If I'm looking at a photo of someone on their professional page and the person looks like they just crawled out of bed, I'm going to leave the page. Maybe I'm a snob, but I'll bet I'm not the only one. Can you afford to take that chance?

How about your website? Does it scream "free web host" all over it? If you can't afford to put the time and money into your website, potential customers are going to know it and might not give...

How To Find The Perfect Images Online

How To Find The Perfect Images Online

 by: Jim Edwards

Has this ever happened to you?

You need a photo for a website, brochure, flyer, or CD / DVD cover.

You buy one of those 100,000 photo and clipart collections on 10 CD-ROMs hoping to find the "perfect" picture, but after hours of searching you find your brain tired, your mouse hand numb, and no "perfect" photo in sight.

Fortunately, the photo and clipart business got a lot smarter online, and anyone who ever needs good photos at rock bottom prices stands to benefit.

Buying one of those mega-photo collections to find one photo rates about the same as buying an entire aisle at the supermarket in hopes of finding a single Snicker bar!

Personally, my shelves hold over 2,000,000 photo and clipart images on over 100 CD-ROMs, most of which rate quite useless to me.

To further complicate matters, photo collections on CD-ROM tend to go out of date.

Many of the photo...

How does your printer work?

How does your printer work?

 by: John Sollars

Most people have used printers at some stage for printing documents but few are aware of how it works. Printed documents are arguably the best way to save data. There are two types of basic printers Impact and Non-impact.

Impact printers, as the very name implies means that the printing mechanism touches the paper for creating an image. Impact printers were used in early 70s and 80s. In Dot Matrix printers a series of small pins is used to strike on a ribbon coated with ink to transfer the image on the paper.

Other Impact Printers like Character printers are basically computerized typewriters. They have a series of bars or a ball with actual characters on them, which strike on the ink ribbon to transfer the characters on the paper. At a time only one character can be printed. Daisy Wheel printers use a plastic or metal wheel. These types of printers have limited usage though because they are limited...

What you Need to Know Before Buying Your Next Printer

 by: Bill Smith

There are many different printer types and models in the market today -- so many in fact that you really have to give serious thought to how you?re going to use your next printer. Some printers are better at printing photos than others, while some printers area so advanced that they can double as a copier.
